  • Working with Thao to take our civil ceremony photos was a seamless and collaborative process! She was super proactive to ensure that she captured our needs prior to the day of the ceremony. She helped us curate an inspiration board, scouted photo locations, and presented everything in a deck so we knew exactly what to expect. On the day of, she gave us verbal cues on how to pose, made sure our families felt involved, captured all the big and little moments (that we didn’t even think of!), and showed us the photos along the way. The images came out INCREDIBLE, all my friends were asking who took them and could not get over how chic we looked. We would definitely recommmend Thao’s services to everyone :)

  • We wouldn’t have picked anyone else to photograph our civil ceremony — Thao is really great at capturing just the right moments. Personally we wanted very candid photos and that’s exactly what we got. Before shooting, Thao asked if we could create a moodboard so she could see our vision and plan around it. The outcome was better than we could’ve ever expected! During the shoot she chose the perfect moments to capture and directed when she needed to, but ultimately let us be as natural as possible — which we loved!
